Terraluz at A Place in the Sun London
Earlier this month, we had the opportunity to present Terraluz Homes at A Place in the Sun Live in London — and we’re still reflecting on the warmth, curiosity, and shared excitement we experienced throughout the weekend.
This was our second major exhibition, following Manchester, and it was clear that the conversation around sustainable, modular living is deepening. We met people who weren’t just looking for a property abroad — they were imagining a different kind of life. One that offers flexibility. One rooted in values. One that feels both future-ready and grounded in the present.
What struck us most was how many visitors were drawn to the idea behind Terraluz, not just the product. Yes, they admired the clean architecture, the natural materials, and the high standards of CLT (cross-laminated timber) construction. But beyond that, they saw something more personal — a way of building that puts people first. A way of living that reflects the need for sustainability, space, and simplicity.
Our turnkey home-and-plot offerings in Granada, developed in partnership with Yardina Home SL, sparked real interest — not only because of their setting in the heart of Andalusia, but because of what they represent: homes designed to grow with their owners. Many conversations began with a look at floor plans and ended in discussions about lifestyle, well-being, and how to create something lasting.
We also received a wave of inquiries about home deliveries to the Costa del Sol, the Canary and Balearic Islands, Portugal, Greece, France, and even the UK. This reaffirmed something we’ve always believed — that the desire for modular, ecological homes is not tied to one country or region. It’s part of a broader shift. People are thinking differently. They’re planning more carefully. They’re asking better questions.
Terraluz has always been a personal venture for us. As a married couple building both a business and a life together, our approach is shaped by real experience. We know the importance of flexibility, shared goals, and space to evolve. Our homes reflect that. They’re not just fast builds or smart investments. They’re spaces intended to hold stories — places where children grow, guests are welcomed, and futures are shaped.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be preparing personalised proposals for many of the individuals and families we spoke with in London. We’re also finalising our new website, which will offer an easier way to explore our catalogue, understand the CLT construction process, and imagine what’s possible — whether you’re looking for a holiday home, a permanent residence, or a self-sufficient retreat in the sun.
To everyone who visited our stand, thank you for your time, your thoughtful questions, and your openness. You reminded us why we’re doing this. And for those just discovering Terraluz, we invite you to follow along as we continue shaping a more thoughtful, human approach to homebuilding — one modular home at a time.
